Brexit, GDPR and International Data Transfer
The UK will formally leave the European Union on 29 March 2019. The terms of the future relationship have not yet been agreed and negotiations are still on going. Given this considerable uncertainty, guidance is provided to members to help them comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on personal data transfers. The aim is to present the tools and options that are available for organising internal operations, allowing for the smoothest possible transition in personal data transfers.
