Behavioural Science: Unlocking the Power of Behavioural Science – Behavioural Issues, Interventions and Impact. With Crawford Hollingworth, Behavioural Architects and Xierong Liu, Ipsos MORI convening.
An up-close look at behavioural science, which has given us a deeper understanding of the drivers and barriers to human behaviour. In healthcare, says speaker Crawford from Behavioural Architects, we often wrestle with seemingly irrational behaviour, making decisions that can at first appear suboptimal. In fact, behavioural science can help us understand these seemingly irrational behaviours. Crawford uses several case studies to show how habits can be hard to break, and why inertia can build up and persist – among both HCPs and patients. This session will be followed by a panel discussion to discuss the value of Behavioural Science in our industry, with panellists drawn from industry.
